FAQs about Eurostar
If you are late for your Eurostar train and arrive after it has departed, you will typically be considered a "no-show," and your ticket may not be valid for a later train. This is particularly the case for Eurostar Standard and Eurostar Plus tickets (new fares from November 4, 2024). However, if you have a Eurostar Premier ticket, you can change to a new date or time, or request a refund within 48 hours after the original departure time.
If you realise you are running late, contact Eurostar staff as soon as possible. They may be able to assist you in rebooking your journey, although this could incur additional fees.
Refund policies differ depending on the fare type. From 4th November 2024, for Eurostar Standard and Eurostar Plus tickets, you can obtain a refund for a fee if you cancel at least seven days prior to departure. The fee is £/€25 per person for each segment of the journey, or £/€50 per person for a full refund on a return ticket.
For Eurostar Premier tickets, you can receive a refund without any fee up to 48 hours after the scheduled departure time. Beyond this 48-hour window, tickets are non-refundable.
