Ashford International Train Station runs high-speed services to London St Pancras International. It used to run services to mainland Europe until March 2020, when it stopped at European destinations like Paris, Brussels, Marseille and Lille via Eurostar.

It was originally constructed in 1842 and redeveloped for electrification in the 1960s. Yet its close proximity to both Dover and the capital meant that it was destined for high-speed international services once the Channel Tunnel was built in the mid-1990s, being renamed Ashford International in 1996.
