You can board with a bicycle on select Regionale trains - look out for the special symbol when booking. Availability is limited and the fee is either an additional Second Class ticket or a €3.50 supplement. Foldable bikes are allowed on all Regionale trains for free when folded down and stored in a bag as luggage.
Boarding with Pets
You can travel with pets on most Regionale trains. Small four-legged friends board for free when travelling in a container (maximum dimensions 70 x 30 x 50 cm). For bigger pets, you’ll need to buy an extra ticket, but there’s a 50% discount on the price. Be sure to keep them on their lead at all times. Assistance dogs are allowed for free on all routes.

There’s no fee for travelling with luggage on Regionale trains as long as your bags fit in the designated storage spaces.
