Departing from Blackpool North

Blackpool North Station can be found on Talbot Road near the seaside. It isn’t far from Blackpool’s North Pier and Blackpool Tower, making it an easy station to reach from around the surrounding area. Do not confuse Blackpool North Station with Pleasure Beach Station or Blackpool South Station.

It’s possible to reach the station by taxi or local bus services. However, the nearest tram stop is half a mile away from the station, which is worth considering if you’re carrying heavy luggage on your way to London.

Arriving at London Euston

The train from Blackpool to London will arrive at London Euston Station, in the Borough of Camden. Euston is the southern terminus of the West Coast Mainline and is the UK’s busiest intercity passenger station, as it is the entry point to get from the capital to the West of England, Wales, and Scotland.

It’s a very well-connected station. Its underground Station has access to the Northern and Victoria Lines, and Euston Square Underground Station, which is nearby, has access to the Circle, Metropolitan, and Hammersmith & City Lines. Meanwhile, buses are available from Euston Bus Station beside the railway station, and taxis can be found adjacent to Eversholt Street and Euston Road.

There’s so much to do near London Euston Station. Obviously, the tube can take you anywhere you want to go in London. But if you’re in the mood for sightseeing once you get there, you’re in luck. The British Library and The British Museum are all within walking distance. At the same time, the Wellcome Collection – a museum that explores the history of medicine, can also be found on Euston Road.
