On average, getting to the UK capital from Norwich takes only under two hours with a direct train from Greater Anglia. There are two trains per hour on weekdays operating between Norwich and London Liverpool Street, and with the first train running from 5am and the last running at 10.02pm, you’ll have all day to explore the largest city in Europe.

The journey from Norwich to London will take you through Norfolk and down into the Southeast of England before arriving at London Liverpool Street Station, at the centre of the UK’s global financial hub.

Greater Anglia provides services from London Liverpool Street to destinations in the Southeast of England, including Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, and parts of Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. Notably, they run the Stansted Express, connecting London Liverpool Street to Stansted Airport.

The station itself is the northern interchange of the Great Eastern Main Line and the terminus of multiple secondary light rail lines. Making this station is ideal if you’re travelling from further afield and need to change to Norwich to get to London Liverpool Street.

London Liverpool Street station also offers you great rail connections further into London, especially as it’s one of the central stations on the London Underground.
